Information at a Glance

All around the world, there are clients seeking exceptional experiences; clients for whom a wide range of terroirs means a variety of flavors. Their exacting standards are proportional to our expertise – the finely-honed skills that we pass down from generation to generation. The time these clients devote to drinking our products is a tribute to all those who have worked to develop them. It is for these men and women that Rémy Cointreau, a family-owned French Group, protects its terroirs, cultivates exceptional multi-centenary spirits and undertakes to preserve their eternal modernity. The Group’s portfolio includes 14 singular brands, such as the Rémy Martin and LOUIS XIII cognacs, and Cointreau liqueur. Rémy Cointreau has a single ambition: becoming the world leader in exceptional spirits. To this end, it relies on the commitment and creativity of over 1,850 employees and on its distribution subsidiaries established in the Group’s strategic markets. Rémy Cointreau is listed on Euronext Paris.

As Senior Manager-PR and Communication, you will architect and execute a comprehensive PR and communications strategy that protects and enhances the corporate reputation of Rémy Cointreau. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you will act as the guardian of the corporate narrative, ensuring consistency across all external-facing communications. You will lead media relations, executive communications, and corporate events to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, mitigate reputational risk, and commercial objectives.

Strategic Corporate Reputation & HQ Governance

  • Global-Local Synergy: Act as the strategic bridge between Greater China and Global HQ (Corporate & Financial Communications), ensuring all regional narratives are synchronized with global institutional pillars.
  • Crisis & Risk Governance: Architect a robust Crisis Management Ecosystem for Greater China. This includes developing contingency protocols, real-time monitoring systems, and cross-departmental reporting tools in strict alignment with HQ standards.
  • Corporate Policy Leadership: Establish and enforce unified benchmarks and guidelines for corporate-level assets, including celebrity/influencer usage standards (encompassing LOUIS XIII) and external language control.

Executive Positioning & Institutional Influence

  • CEO Strategic Partnership: Serve as the lead communications advisor to the CEO, managing high-stakes external announcements, institutional messaging, and sensitive media engagements.
  • Leadership Thought Leadership: Elevate the CEO’s public profile through a curated "High-Level Only" strategy, focusing on top-tier business media, global forums, and strategic speaking engagements to bolster the group's corporate image.
  • Executive Readiness: Oversee the Spokesperson Training program, ensuring the senior leadership team is equipped to navigate complex corporate narratives and media scrutiny.

Strategic Corporate Operations

  • Corporate Media Stewardship: Direct the strategy for the RC Corporate Weibo, pivoting content toward institutional storytelling and corporate social responsibility (CSR) to meet engagement KPIs.
  • Institutional PR Projects: Lead corporate-level landmark projects, such as the CIIE Project and the Corporate PR Retainer, ensuring maximum institutional visibility and ROI without budget variance.
  • Regional Oversight (HK, MO, TW): Function as the corporate gatekeeper for HK, Macau, and Taiwan, ensuring that regional PR activities align with the broader Greater China Corporate Strategy and HQ governance.

Integrated Communications Strategy

  • Develop a unified annual communications plan aligning PR strategies with brand and business goals (e.g., market share growth, premiumization).
  • PR synergy with unified brand objectives, audience alignment and content strategy integration.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with top-tier business, lifestyle, and luxury media to secure positive coverage and position leadership as industry thought leaders.
  • Amplifying brand event experiences through PR coverage and amplification (live streams, UGC).

Leveraging consumer insights to shape PR angles that resonate with local trends.

Celebrity Management

  • Proactive risk mitigation in celebrity marketing requires a thorough evaluation and selection process to align the right personality with the brand, regardless of the engagement's length—from long-term spokesperson to short-term brand friends.
  • Harness the celebrity's influence to boost brand visibility, engage fans, and deepen the connection between the celebrity, brand, and consumers.

Budget & Performance Management

  • Manage the communication budget for portfolio brands, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across agencies and content production.
  • Track and report on KPIs (e.g., consumer & brand related KPIs) to evaluate campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Deliver excellent monitoring of monthly/weekly updates with tracking performance for portfolio brands and share with senior management/HQ brand owners and other related teams on a regular basis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with brand marketing to ensure PR activations align with the overall brand vision and goals.
  • Work with HQ Teams to localize campaigns while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with not only the brand but also TMK, EC & Sales or other internal stakeholders if needed to ensure communications drive measurable ROI.
